The ActiveDogs Chest to Girth Support Strap is a versatile upgrade designed to add stability, comfort, and support to your dog's vest or harness. This padded support strap helps keep vests, packs, and harnesses properly positioned while providing additional underbody support during work, training, pulling, or pack-carrying activities.
My senior shepherd was starting to lag on our afternoon walks, and clipping this between his chest and girth strap gave him just enough lift to keep up. The extra handle placement makes it easy to steady him stepping off curbs without pulling on his neck.
Bought this to add a second connection point on my harness and it's made a huge difference. The chest-to-girth strap keeps everything from shifting when my lab pulls, and the handle on top is handy for helping him over stiles.
My senior shepherd used to slip sideways in his harness on uneven trails, but adding this chest-to-girth strap keeps everything locked in place now. The padded section sits right behind his front legs without rubbing, even after a two-hour hike.
