This Tracking Line is made of heavyweight cotton web. Cottom tracking lines are hard to come by but we still use them as our preference.  I have always used a cotton tracking line because it does not get slimy when wet and dries fast.  The activedogs.com cotton tracking line is regulation length (33 feet/10 meters) for IPO Schutzhund work.  It has a swivel bolt snap at one end and a looped handle on the other end. Both ends are box stitched for added durability.

Color is dependent on material availability and is currently black

Can also be used for agitation/bite work/Search&Rescue, or other K-9 work

Can also be used as a very long lead for walking your dog

Swapped out my old nylon line for this cotton one and the difference is night and day — it doesn't slip through my hands or tangle near as bad on brushy tracks. Thirty-three feet gives me plenty of room to work a scent line without resetting. Didn't think I'd care this much about a rope.

The heavyweight cotton web has a nice grip to it that nylon lines just don't, and it doesn't slice into your hands when the dog pulls. Thirty-three feet gives plenty of room to work a track without coiling up on itself.
