The Canine Deployment Mat is made of 1 ½" thick foam covered with heavy ballistic material. It is excellent for wet or snowy weather conditions or when working on uncomfortable, rough terrain. It gives your K9 a comfortable place to rest while training.  This mat also works well when training the dog to go and stay in a certain place.  It can be used as a signal for the dog to go there and stay until released. The K9 mat folds up and has buckles to hold the mat in place. This makes transporting the mat easy. A convenient carry handle is attached to the mat. Made in USA.

Bought this for my truck bed and the ballistic material has held up perfectly through a muddy hunting season. The 1 1/2" foam gives my shepherd enough cushion on cold concrete without being bulky. Wipes clean with a hose, which is more than I can say for his last bed.

Our lab sprawls on this thing the second we pull it out of the car. The 1½-inch foam keeps him off the cold ground, and the heavy ballistic fabric brushes off mud and snow without soaking in. Exactly what we needed for wet weather.

The ballistic material has held up way better than I expected after a whole winter of muddy paws and snow. Foam's thick enough that my shepherd doesn't sink through to the concrete anymore.
